So these were the next pair I bought. I took so long to get them and I ended up getting another one today, so I figured I'd toss them all into one review.
More of these!
They're like crack. Also, it seems there will be a new wave at some point with Princess Celestia and Luna, so uhh keep an eye out for them?
First up is Sweetie Swirl, another recolor, this time of Rarity. I have no idea what to say here! She has a nice colorful mane but not sure if I like the colors that much. Maybe it's because it's Rarity. Either way, she's very brightly colored.
Next up is...
Flutterdash.
Okay. I know. Yeah. If you don't know what's wrong... It's Rainbow Dash's figure in Fluttershy's colors. I guess they couldn't be bothered to give Fluttershy her own unique mold (which is odd considering the rest of the main 6 have their own), so she ended up sharing with the only other pegasus in the group. I mean it's close enough, but kind of a shame. Luckily I've learned to adopt the name Flutterdash and like it as a novelty item. Funnily, even her card uses Rainbow Dash's art for it, just with her eyes. Make your own story about it.
Today's new haul included...
Twilightlicious.
What is there to say? She looks appropriately colored in this photo but she's actually an obvious shade of pink in person. Not the first time they gave someone an odd color. But hey, at least she's not a recolor of Rarity! Right, Flutterdash?
(Twility, Rarity Sparkle, Twilight Sparkity...)
So hey, more ponies. What can I say other than they're fun? I will say again (assuming I DID say this last time...), it would be nice if they used original molds on all of these instead of just making recolors, but then again that's just what they do judging by the packaging art on the full sized figures. These are still neat to have as desk toys. And at $2 a piece, they are hard to not pick up everytime you go shopping.
