[Toys] Transformers Prime: Cyberverse Vehicon

Lots of people want to buy a bunch of Vehicons, as do I, but I'm willing to go for a smaller scale if only to save money and desk space.

Vehicons! They're the Stormtroopers of Prime. Cannon fodder that gets mercilessly ripped to shreds. The perfect way to have crazy amounts of violence in a kids show!

The vehicle is, as it should be, the shining point in this design. That evil batmobile design is legendary. Very angular and so very black. The paint is used sparingly here, but it's got some nice subtle touches, like the purple stripes on the sides in front of the front wheels.

Robot mode, sadly, is not something you can write home about. It's standard Cyberverse/Legends build. You get elbow balljoints, thigh balljoints and some knee bending, but not much else. The only real lack of paint lies in the legs which are mostly grey. The sculpting is nice, however, all designs are as they should be and you get a nice hunchback look from the way he transforms.

The only thing that could make this better is some elbow bends. That's all it needs.

The weapon this guy comes with is a purple blaster, which looks a lot like the built-in guns the Vehicons have, right down to the triangular barrel. The gun has a mounting peg on the handle and on the back end, as well as a hole on the top (aligned with the handle peg.) It can be plugged into the Vehicon's robot mode arms and back, or the vehicle mode doors and hood. Nice and simple placement.

I like 'im. The sculpting is nice, the two modes look just as they should, weapon choice makes sense... this is JUST worth the $5 price point. While I do intend to get a proper Deluxe sized Vehicon, this is a nice alternative.
